Determination of the parameter range of the electrical actuating mechanism of a rudder drive with a variable structure providing a specified speed of response
Abstract
A method is presented for determining the parameters of the electrical actuating mechanism of a rudder drive corresponding to a specified speed of response, i.e., the deflection of the output shaft to a specified angle within a specified time. The approach proposed here provides a way to optimize the development and design of electrically operated tracking rudder drives.
