Determination of the energy characteristics of a viscoelastic cylindrical layer
Abstract
A solution is presented for the problem of the interaction between an internal pulsating load of the traveling-wave type and a viscoelastic cylindrical layer. The distribution of the damping characteristics of the layer with respect to the energy region of wave numbers is estimated. Based on the energy and kinematic characteristics of the viscoelastic layer, determinations are made of the values for the boundary conditions that are required to solve the problem of turbulent flow in a pipe with a viscoelastic coating.
