Semiclassical expansion for nonlinear dielectric media
Abstract
We employ a Holstein-Primakoff expansion to derive a collective-mode macroscopic effective Hamiltonian from a microscopic model of a nonlinear optical medium where the atoms are treated as two-level systems.
