Densities of calcium nuclei as deduced by analyses of 16O scattering
Abstract
Densities of 40Ca, 42Ca, 44Ca and 48Ca nuclei are derived by analyses of the scattering processes initiated by a 16O beam. The procedure is based on the use of real potentials that specifically involve the densities of the interacting nuclei. The results are compared with densities deduced from alpha-particle scattering.
