Topics in N=2 Lightcone YangMills
Abstract
This thesis contains a calculation of the (beta) function of N=2 YangMills at one and two loops. Instead of using the usual N=1 covariant superfield formalism, we work in an N=2 lightcone superspace. In contrast to the covariant calculation we do not encounter any offshell infrared infinities. We also qualitatively discuss the inclusion of N=2 matter. Most importantly, this work demonstrates the feasibility of doing multiloop computations in lightcone field theories and to this end some practical methods for calculating lightcone integrals are developed.
