Processing and correction of VLSI circuit images obtained with a scanning electronic microscope

A computer system for visualizing the evolution of the internal potentials of working integrated circuits, and the details of the image processing to obtain useful images are presented. The program developed for a digital Minc microcomputer is given. It is shown that this technique is especially adapted to development work for VLSI prototypes.
