Hydrodynamic instability of the ablation front during the ablation acceleration of a layer
Abstract
The instability of an accelerated ablation front is investigated analytically in order to determine the applicability limits of a model with isobaric and weakly permeable boundaries. The range of parameters for which such a model is valid is determined with allowance for the multilayer structure and stratification of cold matter due to its compressibility.
