CO observations of the S147/S153 complex associated with the SNR G 109.1-1.0.
Abstract
Results of observations for 12CO and 13CO lines of the S147/S153 complex, a giant molecular cloud associated with several H II regions, are presented. The mapping observations were carried out with the 4-m millimeter-wave telescope of Nagoya University at spacings of 3' in general and 1.'5 for a particular area. It is found that the CO cloud can be divided into north and south clouds, and the north cloud shows some evidence of interaction with the SNR G109.1 - 1.0 which is located on the eastern side of the CO cloud. The structure of an H I cloud in this region is examined based on The Maryland-Green Bank Galactic 21-cm Line Survey (Westerhout and Wendlandt 1982; AAA 32.156.001). A possible interaction between the SNR and the H I cloud is also suggested.
