A high power picosecond dye oscillator synchronously pumped by a Q-switched, mode-locked Nd: YAG laser
Abstract
The second harmonic of a Q-switched, mode-locked Nd: YAG laser is used to synchronously pump a cavity-dumped dye oscillator to produce broadly tunable, 20 ps, 20 μJ pulses with a linewidth of 1 cm -1.
