Single-mode frequency tuning of a high-pressure photopreionized CO 2-laser
Abstract
Single-mode frequency tuning of a pulsed high-pressure photopreionized CO 2-laser with laser linewidth ⪅1 x 10 -3 cm -1 and peak power up to 10 5 W is reported. Two regimes of synchronous frequency scanning of the resonator mode by a piezoceramic transducer and mode-selecting etalon by corresponding angle tilting are carried out in the spectral interval covering the free spectral range of the used etalons. Contours of isolated lines and high-resolution absorption spectra of ethylene are presented.
