Interaction of an electron bunch with the accelerating system
Abstract
The book is concerned with the physical and mathematical aspects of the problems related to the interaction between an electron bunch and the accelerating systems. In particular, attention is given to the key problems of diffraction radiation, the interaction between the source and accelerating elements, diffraction radiation in extended structures, and approaches to the solution of problems associated with the excitation of periodic structures. Other topics discussed include interaction in a closed accelerating system of cylindrical geometry and interaction with an accelerating field.
