Microprocessor-controlled instruments and complexes for measuring ionizing radiation
Abstract
The design of instruments with built-in microprocessors for measuring ionizing emissions is discussed. In particular, attention is given to the principal problems associated with the development of instruments of this kind, including data formats, implementation of primary data processing devices, methods of data indication, manual control, interfacing with the main computer, and organization of data interchange. The discussion also covers software structure and design and characteristics of the operation of devices with program storage in permanent memory.
