Geometrodynamical methods and a gauge approach to the theory of gravitational interactions
Abstract
Various aspects of the gauge approach in the theory of gravitational interactions and the geometrodynamical method for gravitational-field quantization are examined. Attention is given to the Lagrangian and canonical schemes of general relativity and Einstein-Cartan theory, and to the effect of space-time twist on the structure of wave fields with spin and on the evolution of cosmological models of the universe. A consistent geometrical approach to the development of a gauge theory of gravitation for Poincare and de Sitter groups is presented.
