An analysis of the accuracy of solutions to a two-dimensional inverse heat conduction problem
Abstract
A two-dimensional inverse heat conduction problem is formulated in cylindrical coordinates. To analyze the accuracy of solutions to this problem, an algorithm is developed using the method of conjugate gradients and the numerical method of variable directions. The accuracy of the solutions is determined on the basis of special numerical experiments. Some computational results for model heat fluxes with different laws of spatial and temporal changes are presented.
