Analysis of multilayer interconnection lines for a high-speed digital integrated circuit
Abstract
A comprehensive spectral-domain technique for calculating the frequency dispersion of integrated-circuit interconnection lines is described and demonstrated. Results for a simple two-line coupled system on SiO2 are presented graphically, and the technique is found to give more accurate 4-port equivalent-network parameters than conventional lumped-element models.
