A tuned auto-compensator for residual antenna motion in synthetic aperture radar systems
Abstract
A technique for the removal of the image corrupting effect of undetected antenna motions in synthetic aperture radars is presented. This is a signal processing scheme tuned to the characteristic frequencies of the residual antenna motion, and performs well for vibrations. It has no stringent requirements on the existence of dominant point reflectors in the scene.
