Superconductive chirp-transform spectrum analyzer
Abstract
Superconductive dispersive delay lines in chirp-transform configuration have accomplished spectral analysis over an instantaneous bandwidth of 2.4 GHz, also achieving a two-tone resolution of 43 MHz and a + or - 1.2-dB amplitude uniformity. Reduction in sidelobe levels will result from improvements in substrate thickness uniformity, packaging tolerances, and room temperature electronics.
