Methods of estimation of coefficients of heat transfer from nonisothermal walls
Abstract
Modern methods for calculating the coefficients of heat transfer from nonisothermal walls are analyzed. The principal tenets underlying the approaches to calculation and the design equations following from each approach are presented. The advantages and shortcomings of the individual methods, as well as the ranges of their applicability are noted.
