Effect of thermophysical properties of injected two-phase coolant on the efficiency of cooling an adiabatic wall
Abstract
Equations for the efficiency of film cooling of an adiabatic wall at an arbitrary ratio of concentrations of the vapor and the liquid components of the main and injected streams (injection parameter) are derived. The effect of thermophysical properties of the injected coolant on the film-cooling efficiency is analyzed. It is shown that selection of a coolant with certain thermophysical properties makes it possible to maintain the wall at a given temperature.
