A remark on the separation problem of viscous flows
Abstract
The separation of an incompressible viscous flow from the upper surface of an immersed body is discussed, summarizing the results of recent analytical investigations by reference to a simplified model. Consideration is given to separation and the flow field at the boundary, the family of particle trajectories in the velocity field, the critical points of the velocity field, and examples of divergence-free flows with attached-flow constraints.
