Analyse des Septumpolarisators mit Hilfe der Orthogonalentwicklung
Abstract
A mode matching method for parametrically studying, analyzing, and optimizing the septum polarizer is presented. The electromagnetic field problem is solved using a simply derived eigenvalue system of equations. The eigenwaves in the septum polarizer are numerically solved, permitting the polarizer's length in the z-direction and the required polarization unit to be determined from simple physical relationships.
