Stimulated emission from relativistic electrons in magnetic undulators
Abstract
A theoretical analysis is made of stimulated emission in axial and plane magnetic undulators. The quantum approach of Ternov et al. (1980) is used, which makes it possible to account for electron spin in the emission process. Attention is given to the polarization of the electron beam in the stimulated-absorption process.
