Theoretical investigation of a stripline planar antenna
Abstract
The moment method is used to calculate the aperture field distribution, the radiation pattern, and the gain of a new type of stripline planar antenna array element. The difficulty originating from singularities in the integral equation are overcome by a simple shift of the testing functions used by Cha and Harrington (1981). A method for maximizing the gain of the element is discussed.
