CW operation of a cleaved-coupled-cavity array of phase-locked GaAlAs lasers
Abstract
Tunable single-longitudinal-mode operation has been obtained at power levels up to 50 mW from a continuously operating cleaved-coupled-cavity array of phase-locked diode lasers. In addition, conversion of a multilobed to a single-lobed radiation pattern was observed as a function of current supplied to the control segment of the coupled cavity.
