Modern equipment for manufacture of IC's in Hungary
Abstract
A significant microelectronics investment is being realized at this time in the interest of improving the supply of parts to the domestic electronics industry. Machine lines to manufacture metal oxide semiconductors integrated circuit elements (chips) were put into operation and the mass production of chips began after successful test operation. Installation of machines to manufacture bipolar IC chips began this year as well. According to plans, mass manufacture on these machine lines will begin in 1985. The moderness of the machines installed can be considered of interest; this determines fundamentally (but not exclusively) the economical manufacture and the modernness of the integrated circuits which can be manufactured.
