Advances in optoelectronic, nuclear reactor, radiobiological research: High voltage optocoupler

The parameters of optocouples are discussed and the results of measurements of light emitting diodes (LED's) and photodiodes are shown. The scheme and characteristics of the fast high voltage optical isolator developed are presented. The obtained parameters are as follows: isolation voltage over 70 kB, t sub d--delay time is less than 50 ns, stability delta t sub d/delta I sub LED 0.5 ns/a with I sub LED 5a.
