The method of orthogonalizing substitution in the theory of screened integrated microwave structures
Abstract
A slotted screened multilayer structure forming a bulk microwave integrated circuit is analyzed on the basis of an integral equation of the first kind to which is applied the method of orthogonalizing substitution. The method involves the determination of the tensor Green function in the form of an expansion in functions forming the complete orthonormal system on a specified segment. The approach yields the dispersion relation and the field distribution on the specified segment in an analytical form.
