Inverse problems for the radiative-transfer equation in the case of cylindrical symmetry
Abstract
Certain inverse problems for the equation of stationary radiative transfer with isotropic scattering in the case of cylindrical symmetry are proposed and examined. The incident and outgoing radiation is assumed to be known. The unknown functions are the radiation intensity, the deexcitation function, and the absorption and scattering coefficients. The data of the problem are generalized to the case of radiative transfer in a moving gas.
