Reflection and refraction of electromagnetic waves at the boundary between a moving and a stationary medium
Abstract
A solution is presented for the problem of the incidence of a plane electromagnetic wave of arbitrary polarization on a moving medium with uniaxial anisotropy. The conditions leading to an amplification of the reflected wave are determined. The results obtained are valid for an arbitrary orientation of the optical axis in the plane of incidence.
