Laser active color centers studies
Abstract
By using an additive coloration method, an F-center concentration of 10 to the -16 to 10 to the -18 in KCl:Na crystals is obtained. The F sub B(II) centers are formed by exposing the additive colored crystal to the F-band excitation, and the emission band of the color centers covers the range of 2.1 to 2.8 micron with a peak at 2.5 micron.
