On H plane dielectric loading theory for H plane ferrite phase shifter
Abstract
The theoretical and experimental results of a nonreciprocal H plane dielectric-loaded H plane ferrite phase shifter are presented, including the approximate formula of differential phase shift and the transcendental equation of differential phase shift frequency response with zero slope. The results show that this kind of dielectric-loaded technique makes it possible to increase the differential phase shift and the figure of merit, and fabricate devices with wide band and higher average power.
