Mean density scale heights from analysis of variation in perigee height of China's second satellite
Abstract
A method for computing the density scale height H is discussed. Four mean values of the density scale height H are determined from the analysis of variations in the perigee height of China's second satellite. The difference between the determined values and CIRA-1972 is less than 10 percent, the mean H is 5 percent greater than that given by CIRA-1972.
