Absolute magnitudes of Ap stars from low-dispersion spectrograms.
Abstract
The absolute magnitudes of 33 Ap-stars have been derived from low-dispersion spectrograms using the calibration of M(v) of Sinnerstad (1961). The spectrograms were taken in 1974-1975 using the 70-cm telescope of the Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory. Some difficulties were noted in applying the calibration method to other spectral classes. The absolute magnitudes are given in a table.
