Multiple-reflection laser Doppler interferometer
Abstract
A multiple reflection laser Doppler interferometer (MRLDI) which modifies the standard Michelson interferometer has been developed in order to minimize the disadvantage intrinsic to multiple reflection interferometry, which requires a large measured area in which errors can be generated by the moving mirror's angular motion. The MRLDI will be used to measure laser damage thresholds in optical glasses.
