Bridge contacts of superconducting compounds with an A15 lattice
Abstract
For bridge contacts of V3Si, Nb3Sn, and Nb3Ge, the mean contact voltage is determined as a function of the bias current, and the critical current is measured as a function of temperature. Josephson current steps are observed on the volt-ampere characteristics of these superconductors when the latter are exposed to electromagnetic radiation. The interaction of systems of bridge contacts of high-temperature superconductors with a magnetic field is investigated experimentally. It is shown that the similarity of the properties of bridges of various A15 superconductors is due to the vortex nature of the processes occurring in these superconductors.
