Synthetic aperture radar data processing
Abstract
The principles of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) are introduced, and the SAR on board aircraft or satellites is described. Preprocessing of SAR data, including optical processing, choice of hardware and software, radiometric and geometric rectification, and calibrating is introduced. Direct and spectral utilization of SAR imagery is summarized.
