The BRESEX multispectral camera: Preliminary characteristics
Abstract
A Multispectral Camera which will be integrated into the Brazilian Remote Sensing Experiment (BRESEX) is described. The camera is envisaged to fly on board the Space Shuttle in the first half of 1987. The camera will have three spectral bands in the visible and near infrared and a ground resolution of 20 meters for a flight altitude of 300 kilometers. It will use pushroom imaging technology with silicon Charge Coupled Device (CCD) linear arrays as sensors.
