A study of the scattering properties of cylindrical screens in the resonance region
Abstract
By using the method of semiinversion, the problem of determining the diffraction characteristics of a cylindrical screen is reduced to that of solving a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind with a simple kernel. A solution to this equation, obtained by using both analytical and numerical methods, makes it possible to establish the principal characteristics of screening.
