Numerical analysis of a plane spiral antenna in a stratified medium
Abstract
An algorithm is proposed for the numerical analysis of a plane spiral antenna consisting of narrow ribbon conductors in a stratified medium. The algorithm is based on the numerical solution of a Fredholm equation of the first kind for the total current of the spiral by the self-regularization method. A method for representing an arbitrary spiral in the form of a set of elements of varying curvature is described, and an algorithm for an equiangular spiral antenna on a dielectric layer is developed as an example.
