The next generation of the Eutelsat space segment
Abstract
The reasons behind the decision to procure the Eutelsat II satellite are discussed, and a brief description of the Eutelsat II concept is given, including coverages, frequency plan, and satellite EIRP and G/T. The Eutelsat II procurement plan is summarized.
