Asymptotic properties of isolated systems: recent developments.
Abstract
The basic definitions pertaining to the asymptotic properties of isolated systems are presented, and the motivation and meaning of the requirements of these definitions are explained. Both the first-order structure available at infinity and the higher-order structure are reviewed. In addition, some important open problems are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the relation between the conformally rescaled and physical space-time quantities.
