Geochemical data for rock samples from the Petersburg and parts of the Port Alexander and Sumdum quadrangles, southeastern Alaska (documentation)

Geochemical data from rock samples collected in the Petersburg, parts of the Port Alexander, and Sumdum quadrangles, southeastern Alaska is given. One file contains data from 6974 rock samples. Data includes analyses for up to 31 elements by emission spectroscopy and up to 5 elements by atomic absorption techniques and geodetic coordinates in decimal degrees. Rock samples are labeled with the rock type sampled, geologic map unit, geologic age, whether visibily mineralized or not, and geochemical affinity grouping. Sampling procedures are described and references are listed.
