An analytical and experimental study on the core-size and pressure drop across a vortex chamber
Abstract
Theoretical and experimental studies on the core-size of a vortex flow, the pressure drop across a vortex chamber and radial pressure distribution are presented. The analysis shows that all these dimensionless parameters are only functions of the geometry of the vortex chamber. Experimental results confirm the findings.
