Experimental techniques and instrumentation for bluff body aerodynamics
Abstract
Flow visualization around bluff bodies, velocity measurement, pressure measurement, and scalar concentration measurement are discussed. Hot-wire and laser anemometry techniques are described. Modeling of wind pressures for building design is introduced.
