Image lobe analysis for large radomes
Abstract
Image lobe intensities resulting from radomes enclosing large antennas (D greater than or equal to 15 lambda) were evaluated using ray tracing and aperture integration of the reflected field. It is shown, that random phase approximation can be used when the greatest radius of curvature is less than D to the 2nd power/8 lambda.
