Dynamic performance of fluidic signal transmission systems for variable operating temperatures
Abstract
The dynamic performance of a fluidic signal transmission system consisting of a source amplifier, long transmission line and receiver amplifier has been analyzed and experimentally characterized to determine signal transmission sensitivity to variations in temperature. Several different matching conditions between source and receiver amplifier impedances and transmission line impedance have been evaluated for system operation on hydraulic oil to identify design parameters yielding a dynamic response which has reduced sensitivity to temperature variations.
