Scattering of electromagnetic waves in an irised planar waveguide
Abstract
Steady-state scattering of a normal wave in an irised planar waveguide is treated rigorously by reduction to a matrix Riemann problem for two pairs of analytic functions. The second-order matrix functions are factored in closed form, and expressions are derived for the reflection and transformation coefficients of an incident normal wave.
