Allowing for the real force interaction in hinged fastening units in the analysis of the coupled relative turn of two flight vehicles
Abstract
The problem considered here is that of the turn of two flight vehicles relative to their common hinged fastening units in the process of their separation. A model for the force interaction in the hinged fastening units is proposed which allows for the principal characteristics of the real interaction. Equations of motion for the flight vehicles turning relative to the hinged fastening units are obtained, with allowance made for the forces and moments in these units. An efficient iterative computational scheme for calculating the coupled motion of the flight vehicles in the presence of friction forces and moments in the hinged fastening units is presented.
