Polarization of the radiation emerging from a plane layer with internal sources
Abstract
The degree of polarization of the radiation emerging from a plane layer of finite optical thickness is calculated for linear and exponential distributions of the primary sources. The calculations are carried out using integral equations describing the intensity of the emerging radiation.
