Experimental and numerical study of combined radiation-conduction heat transfer in a plane layer of a semitransparent material
Abstract
The results are given from an experimental and numerical study of the temperature drop in a layer of a semitransparent material. It is shown that the temperature drop depends strongly on the kind of reflection (diffuse or specular) at the boundaries of the investigated layer.
